UWATACE SANADI Book Complete by Maimuna Tijjani Iyam.txt

—

Zeenatu made sure that Aisha received medical treatment right in front of her eyes. The prescribed medications were written down, and Zeenatu used her own money to buy them from Garxaya Pharmacy. Afterward, they all proceeded to the State CID, where Mudansir had been taken.

Mudansir was brought out for questioning. Only Zeenatu, Aisha, and Aisha's mother were present. Zeenatu wanted to ask him some questions.

His face was expressionless, and he gave her an unreadable look.

Zeenatu moved the microphone closer to his mouth and asked, "Mudansir, do you know this girl?" She pointed at Aisha.

He looked at Aisha with disdain and replied, “Yes, I know her. She works in our house.”

Zeenatu nodded and said, “So, because she works in your house, you thought you had the right to destroy her life?”

Mudansir flared up in anger. “Who told you I did that to her? Are you accusing me falsely? Well, let me tell you, only God can judge me!”

Zeenatu smiled coldly and said, “Calm down, Mudansir. I am not accusing you falsely because I have solid evidence against you.”

Mudansir scoffed. “What evidence do you have?”

Zeenatu pointed at Aisha and said, “The very girl you assaulted is here as a witness.”

She turned to Aisha, who was nervously blinking her eyes.

"Aisha, can you tell us who raped you?" Zeenatu asked, bringing the microphone closer to her.

Aisha pointed directly at Mudansir and said, “It was him! I swear, it was him! He has tried to attack me before, but today he overpowered me and forced himself on me. But God is watching.”

Zeenatu, filled with sympathy, turned the microphone back to Mudansir and asked, “You heard what Aisha said. Is she also lying against you?”

Mudansir glared at Aisha and said, “That’s your problem! I don't know what you're talking about. I have never committed fornication, let alone rape. This is all a lie!”

Zeenatu, frustrated, said, “Well, if you think she is lying, the camera doesn't lie.”

She pulled out a small camera and showed him the pictures.

Mudansir's eyes widened in shock as he saw himself clearly in the images—on top of Aisha. There were five different pictures showing him in the act.

His hands trembled as fear gripped him. He knew he had no way out. If these pictures were presented in court, he could spend years in prison. And as someone of his status, that would ruin him completely.

Seeing the fear in his eyes, Zeenatu smirked and said, “You see? You can't deny this. And let me tell you, this case will be broadcast on the radio today, not tomorrow. Everyone will hear about what you did. The punishment will serve as a lesson to other criminals like you.”

She stood up, took Aisha's hand, and walked out, followed by Aisha's mother.

Mudansir clenched his fists in frustration. That girl, Zeenatu, would ruin his life. Now, everyone would know what he had done.

He swore that he would deal with her. No matter how much it cost, he would make sure the case was dropped.

That very night, Zeenatu sent the report to a radio station, and it was aired multiple times on five different radio channels.

People were shocked to hear about the case. Aisha received a lot of sympathy, especially after hearing her mother’s emotional plea and Aisha’s own voice describing the horror of what happened.

As for Mudansir, he was cursed and condemned by listeners.
