<p> </p><p>The origin of the story begins with Alhaji Muhammad Nasir, the father of Anatu Siddiqa. Their parents had three children: Alhaji Faruk, Anatu, and their younger sister, Hajiya Aishat. The eldest sibling, Alhaji Faruk, has three children: Mubarak and twin daughters, Fa’iza and Farida. As for Hajiya Aishat, she has no children because she has not been married for a long time.</p><p>The family is educated and values learning deeply. Mubarak, the son of Alhaji Faruk (referred to as "Big Daddy"), is studying medicine with a focus on gynecology at Oxford University in India. At 29 years old, Mubarak is a serious person with a quick temper, not fond of jokes, and takes pride in himself. Described as a tall, dark-skinned man with sharp features, a full beard, and thick hair that he trims like most doctors, Mubarak is striking and charismatic.</p><p>The twins, Fa’iza and Farida, are 18 years old and currently in their final year at Jarspok International School in Port Harcourt. Despite being Hausa by origin, the family resides in Port Harcourt due to work. They are a united family who deeply care for one another, particularly after the loss of their parents, Alhaji Muhammad and his wife, Hajiya Halemat.</p><p>Their parents’ love story is marked by patience, as they were childless for many years. Eventually, they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Anatu Siddiqa, fondly called "Ana." Her birth brought immense joy to the family, and her naming ceremony was a grand event. However, at the age of 5, Ana fell seriously ill with a high fever, which affected her ability to speak. Despite numerous medical treatments, including trips abroad, her condition did not improve, and she remained mute. The family accepted Allah's will with prayers and faith.</p><p>One morning, after Ana and her mother finished their morning prayers and Qur’anic recitation, they prepared breakfast together, as her mother believed in teaching her practical skills despite their wealth. Ana was sent to inform her father that breakfast was ready. Unable to speak, she used gestures, which her father understood. After breakfast, Ana got ready for school, and her parents discussed her condition, expressing their concern. Her father reassured her mother that Ana had a medical appointment at the end of the month for further evaluation.</p><p>Later that day, Ana’s mother informed her they would be visiting Big Daddy’s house, which excited Ana as she would meet the twins. While dressing up, her mother also mentioned that her elder brother, Mubarak, had returned from India. Ana didn’t recognize Mubarak as he had left Nigeria when she was just five.</p><p>Upon arriving at Big Daddy’s house, Ana excitedly ran inside and accidentally bumped into Mubarak, who was taken aback by her lack of an apology. Ana, oblivious, continued inside. Mubarak followed her, puzzled by her behavior. When everyone gathered, Mubarak finally noticed Ana and stared at her intently, deep in thought.</p><p>Later, Ana unintentionally bumped into Mubarak again while running. This time, Mubarak grabbed her, demanding an apology. Unable to speak, Ana used hand gestures to indicate her apology, but Mubarak, misunderstanding her actions, slapped her in frustration. Ana burst into tears. The twins, Fa’iza and Farida, quickly intervened, comforting Ana and explaining to Mubarak that she was mute. Overwhelmed with guilt, Mubarak decided to apologize.</p><p>When Mubarak went to Ana’s room to apologize, he found her asleep.
